Before booking a session, I encourage you to book a free 15-minute phone or virtual consultation. I am available during the week and on Saturday to book consultations. If you would like to request a time outside of opening hours, please get in touch and I will do my best to accommodate.
It can feel overwhelming talking to a stranger about your struggles. A consultation gives you the opportunity to share what you feel comfortable with and will help determine whether or not I am a good fit.
During the consultation, you can also share what you are hoping to gain from counselling and you can ask any questions you may have.
Individual counselling sessions for youth and adults – $140 for 50 minutes
I have experience working with both youth and adults on a range of issues, including anxiety, childhood abuse, depression, domestic violence, grief and loss, self-esteem, sexual abuse, self-harm, and trauma.
Individual in-person counselling sessions are held in an office in East Vancouver and I offer online counselling sessions using Jane.
Couples counselling sessions- $160 for 50 minutes and $240 for 80 minutes
I have experience working with couples who get stuck and need support. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy when working with couples and help identify patterns. Together we work to change some of these patterns and move forward.
I email both partners an attachment history and romantic relationship attachment questionnaire ahead of time.
Group counselling sessions are offered on Understanding Abuse and Connections
I have faciliated group counselling sessions with women both in-person and virtually online. Group counselling sessions are held weekly for a few hours for ten or twelve weeks.
The idea of talking to a counsellor may seem daunting and in some cases attending a group counselling session may be more appealing. For more details on group counselling please get in touch.
Clinical supervision sessions – $150 for 50 minutes
I have experience supervising a team of counsellors and students completing their Masters degree in Counselling.
Supervision provides supervisees an opportunity to reflect on their practice, discuss complex cases, analysis their counselling approach and gain insight on how to continue supporting their clients.
